Great location for access to the route for Rocky Mountain National Park. A short drive to grocery store, and other services in town. Staff was helpful with suggestions for our stay. Also, the restaurant on site was great! If you want the experience of a cookie-cutter bland hotel chain, this is not your hotel--however, if you want to experience a historical lodge with wood floors, antique furniture, and learning about the family history of this mountain lodge and mountain memorabilia, then the Crags Lodge is the respite you are looking for.

We like the facility as we have stayed in it several times and are aways pleased with the staff, the kindness they show, how helpful, considerate and friendly they are. The rooms are all different, making it unique and appreciate the quaintenance of the lodge. Love the location and how quiet it is. The surroundings are beautiful. Our stay was 3 nights this visit. Have stayed 2 night and 4 nights in the past.

The location was beautiful with our view over Estes Park. The hotel location was also perfect to get onto the highway to explore the parks. It was too far (and the hill too steep) from downtown to walk but that was not an issue since we had a car. We really appreciated the staff telling us upon arrival about the system for National Park access so that we did not miss out on our hikes!

Angie

This is an awesome place. Great location. Great views. Each room is different. Barb at the front desk was awesome, recommended great restaurant and brewpub. She said her goal is to make sure all the customers are happy. I’ve travelled to top notch hotels and resorts on multiple continents and I would put her at the top for all around people and customer service skills.

We loved the uniqueness and the ambiance of this hotel, as well as the beautiful views of the town and mountains from the patio deck outside the back of the hotel. Our room had a living room, a small, equipped kitchen, and a bedroom, which was a pleasant surprise that made our stay so much nicer than just a hotel room.
